yeah they been around for a while now but some aren't free and the one that are might cause problems like some are scams and i heard one deletes your whole page

There have always been trackers, but they are scams. The idea is that you put it on your page, then it tracks the people who view your page, but also send the results to a spam distributor, who then spams them, and you too.
