What do you think of Kurt Cobain?? Who killed him, what do you think??

Though there is enough evidence, I think, to merit your question, I don't think there's enough to come to a reasonable conclusion. In spite of all the people who will just repeat the published story of his suicide as a fact.

Suicide is certainly possible. It's possible he was able to tolerate the massive amount of heroin in his bloodstream because of frequent use. It's possible that he hid his suicide note instead of putting it in a prominent, easy-to-find place. It's possible that he managed to shoot himself in the mouth with a really long rifle. Stranger things have happened.

Edward Gelb claimed that Courtney Love offered him money to kill Cobain, and even passed a lie detector test. Of course, those tests aren't foolproof. The previous supposed suicide attempt was reported by Cobain's doctor to be an accident... it was Courtney again who claimed it was anything other than that (and she only made this claim after Cobain's death). I think the very least we can reliably say was that Courtney had lost interest in Cobain, but not his money (she continues to sue for huge portions of any profit made on any part of Cobain's work). So there's a definite motive there.

Cobain's friends don't talk about it much, but those that do seem to think that suicide was not on the menu. Still, some people who commit suicide surprise their friends, so this is not very conclusive either.

I don't think we'll ever know for sure, unless something further comes to light. Gelb is dead now too, though the person who gave him the polygraph is still practicing. And if Courtney did do it, there's always the possibility of a death-bed confession or a "I didn't do it but if I did here's how" book like O.J. did.

I was the biggest Nirvana fan ever, since I first heard them on the radio back in 1991 and miss not having a favorite band anymore.
Re Kurt's death: He did it because life became totally unbearable. To people who say he's a coward and took the easy way out - unless you've felt suicidal or had a family member who has, you've no idea what hell he must have been going through mentally. What angers me the most is that the people around him didn't do more to help him when he most needed it.

He was only the most influential rock artist of the 90's and paved the way for many bands that are popular today.

he killed himself but he wouldnt have been half as famous if he hadnt. the music he made was good and i am not saying that it isnt but he is more known for blowing his brains out rather than for his music. i think the theories about courtney killing him are a load or crap as he had already attempted suicide before actually killing himself.

I think he was a young, talented, troubled man. He killed himself. He tried to do it once before. It's sad but there's no conspiracy there.
