The bank closes at 4 and I need to deposit CASH in my account. Not a check. Is that ok?

Some banks have deposit services for ATM's. Most of them don't offer this feature although. Most banks do offer a night deposit box that you can use.

yes you can deposit cash into the ATM but sometimes
it will NOT be credit to your account until the bank has
verified the deposit -which means it will NOT be available to you
Instantly
like if you have gone into the bank and gave the deposit to the teller..)
Although there are some Bank's ATM that will let you withdraw
the cash right away.. -Most don't

Yeah, if you deposit cash in your account it's usually credited instantly, whereas if you put cheques in after 3:30pm they won't be credited until the next day. Deposit away!

verify the cut-off times on the ATM, most say that anything after 2 pm is credited toward the next day, or not an immediate credit.
