Don't be so pedantic! of course this person means the faeces and not the actual bowels. "Bowels" is just a polite way of putting it. It's a common expression, you know!
Anyway, to the question:
Faeces ranges in colour (from green to brown to orange...)depending on what you eat, and doesn't need to be traditional brown colour to be healthy. Certain chemicals in processed food may alter your stool colour, as can natural ones (see asparagus turning your urine luminous green!).
Are you taking any medications at all? People on Iron supplements often notice their stools becoming green. Other medications may have similar effects too.
The most important thing it to worry about your bowel motions as a whole:
Are they more loose than usual?
Is the smell different? More offensive?
Do they appear to contain mucous or blood?
Have you any discomfort in your general digestive tract?
My best advice if you answer yes to any of these is to go to a doctor for further investigations. Your doctor will be able to give you the answers you need, as none of us here will be able to "diagnose" you over the internet.
And look at your whole health:
Are you currently unwell, run down, recovering from an illness?
Are you suffering from stress? All these can take an effect on how your stools appear, and if you are still concerned, I'd recommend seeing your doctor for peace of mind.
Good luck! x

I dont know what colour my bowels are, I've never seen them, not that I'd want too. I assume you mean your stools. You have an upset stomach, eaten or drank something. Someone was on here the other day and asked a similar question, they thought their green stools were due to the comsumption of to much red wine!

I don't think you can see your bowels. You probably mean your stools are green, and I can only imagine it's something that you ate that makes them that color. I guess it could possibly be an infection of some sort.

I take it you mean that your faeces are green? There could be many explanations and you don't give enough information. If they are green all the time and its not related to what you eat then I would check with your doctor, if you get the all clear (which I am sure you will) consult a good colon hydrotherapist, have some colonics and then follow the insructions the therapist gives you.

have you eaten greens, spinach, or anything with spinach or greens in them? or how about a salad? the chlorophyll in these foods can cause green stool. you have eaten something with chlorophyll. green leafy foods are actually very good for you and are recommended by doctors when you're having problems with constipation. keep eating healthy.
