There's a PCI Device listed under unknown devices in the device manager but all PCI devices are installed and it's still listed even when nothing is installed in the PCI slots.

Sometimes that happends on my computer too, what I do is, I unplug all cables inside the tower, and I restart the sysem, and it will be disappered.

You probably have some form of PCI device INTEGRATED on the motherboard, like sound, LAN or Video. The drivers would be missing to get that error. In Device Manager, try right-clicking on it and 'Uninstall" it, then reboot. See if it comes back and asks for a driver disk. My guess is it WILL return and ask for your Motherboard CDROM that came with your PC.

Delete the device. Windows does not know what it is anyway. If it comes back you'll have to take a guess at what driver you need to load.

the device has probably been physically removed but not removed from the Device Manager, just remove it, doing so will freeup some rescorces
