Okay so everytime i get my period when it goes away I am sometimes left with a smell. Not ur typical fishy smell but a strong period odor. Now i did doushe and it went away for a few days but its coming back. Also i was treated for a bacterial infection like 2 months ago do you think it may have came back?? Please help! Home remedy's would be good just because of health insurance reasons! Thanks!

try a free clinic in your area. im sure theres a planned parenthood somewhere around you. i personally douche once after my period, but thats it because i dont want to over do it. have you tried usin summers eve wash? its safe to use everytime you shower. they also make handy little wipes that you can use throughout the day if need be. also try usin cotton undies, they allow your body to get fresh air when need be. good luck~!

home remedies sometimes increase bacteriAL infections,although it seems the opposite.see ur doctor.coz not every girl is the same.doctors are the shortest way to cure.but,how about changing ue pad kind?

~Sounds to me like your bacteria vaginosis is back again, or it didn't go away in the first place. The antibiotic probably didn't work for you.
There is no over the counter cure for this.
When you wipe your butt, always wipe from front to back. If you wipe forward and get some feces on your who-who, it can cause a bacteria infection too.

most likely bacterial infection. do not douche, it can wash away the good bacteria that fights off the bad which causes the bacterial infection. my doc says just use plain water to bathe

Sperm can definitely make it smell, my advice would be to douche every 2 weeks. If you can just talk to a doctor about it that would be good, but I'm sure it's nothing serious.

smells like you need to go to the Dr and have the old tampon that you got stuck in there removed. some women loose their tampon around the vagina and need a Dr to remove it. i bet this is you problem

it could be yeast infection , try doushing with plain water and vinegar. check with your gyno, just 2 be safe .

is there an old tampon stuck in there? That can be the cause of many yuck smells

douching is more dangerous than helpful since they change your bodies natural chemical balance. stop douching and see your doctor you probably have another infection

you keep smelling it.( lol )
get checked again,if so the smell won't go away! until you have your old man treated for the **** he keeps bringing home? just a thought.
