Epiphany (Greek: επιφάνεια, "the appearance; miraculous phenomenon") is a Christian feast intended to celebrate the 'shining forth' or revelation of God to mankind in human form, in the person of Jesus.
The observance had its origins in the eastern Christian churches, and included the birth of Jesus; the visit of the Magi, or Wise Men (traditionally named Caspar, Melchior and Balthasar) who arrived in Bethlehem; and all of Jesus' childhood events, up to his baptism in the Jordan by John the Baptist.

If you mean 'Epiphany' the word literally means a discovery. It is a Christian feast celebrated on 6th January (also known as twelfth night) which marks the day the Three wise men (or Kings or Magi) arrived at the stable in Bethlehem to worship the baby Jesus (their epiphany being their eventual discovery of the baby after their long journey). In relatively recent times many people have taken this feast as the time by which their Christmas decorations should be put away.

Yes, the others have pointed out the mistake in the spelling. It's definitely "epiphany", which means "a moment of sudden or great revelation", as can be used in judging the quality of a literary work, for example, and it comes from Matthew 2:1-12, the manifestation of Christ to the Gentiles, the festival of which is celebrated on 6 January.

Epiphany (6 January) is also known as the Day of the Kings, referring to the 3 wise men who gave Jesus gifts. It is indeed the end of the Christmas season, and in Mediterranean countries (Spain, France, Portugal, Italy etc) is when children recieve their presents.
Epiphany is sometimes called "Little Christmas" and is still the date of Christmas in the Eastern Orthodox church.

It's a sudden revelation...as in, "He just couldn't figure out how to solve his problem. Then he had an epiphany."
A sudden manifestation of the essence or meaning of something.
A comprehension or perception of reality by means of a sudden intuitive realization
It's also a prime Christian feast, celebrated Jan. 6, also called Twelfth Day or Little Christmas.
