Even you must see the difference to those two occasions. One event a brutal dictator was killed and yes it's true there can be debate about whether it was the right choice and if it happened in a legal and civilized way.Doesn't change the fact brutal dictator dead, dancing in the streets.
9/11,three thousand innocent people dead, dancing in the streets.
That's not the same, one can maybe be called tacky but who are we to judge people who suffered under that regime maybe even lost family members to it?
The other is cheering the death of people who had done absolutely nothing but be in the US at the wrong time on the wrong place. They didn't deserve any harm, were innocent.Dancing about that is dirty and sick

Well Humanist...
I wasn't there, so I can't confirm who did any dancing. But my guess would be that if anyone celebrated they were displaced Iraqis who, had they stayed in Iraq under Saddam would have been brutally tortured and / or executed (or they have had family killed).
I say, let them dance. I would too, were I in their shoes.

Humanist get your facts straight. It was the Muslim people in Deerborn Michigan that danced in the streets, so they had every right to celebrate.

I do not think dancing in the streets is an acceptable way to "celebrate" the death of any human being. How tacky and disrespectful.

It's a free country, and I assume you are referring to the Detroit area, which has hte largest population of Iraqis in the world, outside of Iraq. Yes, they can celebrate their victory. It is theirs'.
