It seems as though you are getting no where with your manager, so I think the next logical option is for you to do some silent detective work. Was this supposed back injury from a workman's comp claim, car accident, or just plain accident? Every one of these would call for different avenues is why I ask. If this accident happened on the job, it would be a Dept. of Labor issue, and you could call anonomusly and inform them of the persons name, address, place of employment, etc. and give them your take on the fake injury. If it is a car accident, maybe you can bring up in conversation with this person who her auto insurance agent is and if she has been happy with how they have serviced her during her accident (you could cover this by saying that you are thinking about changing your coverage). If you get this information you could do the same thing as before. And if it was a regular accident that happened, more than likely you have the same medical insurance as this person if you carry insurance at your place of employment. Call your insurance representative, don't give your name, but tell them who you work for and what is going on. She is milking not only the office and you, but she is also committing fraud.
Although there is not going to be an immediate whay to change how things are happening in your office and how you are expected to pick up her slack, you can maybe afford some vengance of your own so this lady can get some just desserts!

Why do you care? If this person is NOT your boss, then ignore them. you don't have to do what they say.. if you truly think this is a case of fraud and the dept of labor is paying Workman's comp for this person or medical bills for them then you can report it to The Dept of Labor fraud line at www.dol.gov ... as someone who has had back injuries ...you can't always tell what will cause injury and what won't....repetitive motion, like bending, may ...while occasional lifting may not...either way ..ignore the deadbeat or report them to the fraud line. I would be careful about all the suggestions to talk to other people. at work, you could be seen as a trouble maker or worse become involved in a liable suit.

Call the Workmen's Comp office in your area and report this. This person is earning taxpayer's money because he already gets money from W.C. They will investigate the matter. They don't want any of their money going out on fraudulant claims. And I'd ask if they can do it on an anonymous basis.

If he's harm do not assume him at NM and if he's it somewhat is going to be a speedy adventure. WWE can not threat damaing a extreme greenback funds maker from now on than mandatory. while ingredient hur tis %. they'd not even enable him drop the identify. while kennedy harm his tricep whilst he had the MitB the mathc became approximately 30 seconds and all that handed off became ingredient speared him to win the MitB.

talk to the human resources in your dept. and the next time they tell you to do something nicely respond to them that they are not your boss and you do not need to take orders from them. and if it keeps up file a formal complaint with your supervisor's boss.

Is it a big company? Can you talk to human resources, or maybe the dept of labor in your state? Maybe check the dept of labor site, and ask someone?

Find out what agency she/he is getting disability from and tell them. And if they are getting it through the company, then find out who is in charge of that and tell them.
In my town a Police Chief faked a back injury, and someone turned in footage of him golfing. So fired!

You shall have a boss... tell him in private.. don't get involved in order the sky to not fall over your head!
Do not contact Human Resources !!!!!
If nothing happens, after telling your boss, forget it... your boss is involved too !!!!!!!!
Guess I got the point !
