Keep a bowl of healthy munchies all around and every time you get the urge to reach for a cigarette , grab a munchy instead.
Apple slices, orange slices, carrot sticks, celery boats ( celery w/P.B.) fat-free fig bars or cereal bars. Hard candy/ sugar free gum!
I am so proud of you.
Stick with it!
You can do it!
Just think you will have healthy pink lungs and not diseased black ones!

happy 2007
good luck!
:o)

Please don't pick it back up, please!!! It is such a disgusting habit! I used to smoke and OMG am I glad that I quit. I smoked from 15-25 and I'm 33 now. Some times if I drink beer I smoke which is extremely seldom and when I do, the next day I feel so NASTY from the cig residue on my skin and in my hair. Yuck! I can't stand it. And ppl that I know now who smoke all stink. Their cars, clothes, homes, everything about them stinks. It's so gross. You'll be more attractive, healthier, and you'll smell better if you stop. I know it's hard as hell to quit, but if you've been 2 whole days without you should be very proud of your self and reward yourself. Keep it up, you'll be VERY glad you did.
If you want to scream or go ape on someone, that's ok too, just do it. Get a punching bag or something, it'll pass. Just don't smoke.

Good job! I'm going to quit one of these days. Maybe a good new years resolution?... but I never stick to those.

Can anyone offering advice like "well you never should have started" kindly go to hell? That doesn't help.

You're not alone, I've been chocolate free for 2 days. Patience.

Wow! Right on! Keep it up! Honest... just make it through your third day and you'll start to feel better. You can do this!

PS... Gum and lollipops... exercise. When I quit, I lost 15 lbs and my abs looked fab from all those crunches!
