Blog is short for weblog. It's basically a journal that you keep on the internet. To blog simply means to add an entry to your blog. There are sites set up to make it easy to maintain and update. If you're interested, try

Blogging is writing ... you can write anything about anything! There are a lot of websites online for blogging. Blogger.com is a good one.
Also you can blog on social networks like myspace.com
