Great question because he technically could be. While our laws prohibit prosecuting and jailing a president or member of congress for an OFFICIAL ACT of office in a criminal court - because the constitution empowers (enables, allows) him to kill people if they are considered enemies of our country - congress can impeach him (in the House) and try him (in the senate). If he is convicted in the senate then he could be sentenced to some sort of incarceration.

Now here's the reality - there have only been two impeachments - Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton - and both survived the senate trial and didn't get kicked out of office. President Bush will be long out of office before there is enough political forces against him to impeach him, try him, convict and sentence him (in congress - not the courts). You would agree that it wouldn't matter anymore since he is long out of office. Very astute question!

No, honestly, what crimes has he committed? He has freed the Iraqi people and captured Saddam. Would you rather have Saddam back in power and have him reign over the Iraqi people? If so, you should probably start packing now, Iran is just next door to Iraq. I'm sure you can find a place there where you can voice your opinions openly without fear of imprisonment (sarcasm implied).

no, what crimes has he committed on war? He is, I believe, a great president and he is doing what is best for the united states and if that means a war has to happen then, so be it.

What war crimes?

If he lied to the Congress, then why aren't we screaming at Congress for not reading the report thoroughly? They all had access to the same information. You cannot put Bush into the same camp as Saddam! Saddam sent orders for the slaughter of MILLIONS of his own people.

He lied to congress and the american people about WMDs. There are many videos of him saying one thing and then saying the direct opposite. They could ask him if he even reads his daily briefings and if he did why didn't he do anything to stop 9/11.

Sorry, I'm not going to let you ask me that because I can't think of any war crimes he would be accused of.

I think he should be put under oath by a grand jury (like the one Ken Starr used on Clinton about a bj) and catch him in all his lies about wmds, etc.

Yes. if its okay to publicly hang someone and show it on tv , then it should be okay to put Bush in a jail cell to be someones love bucket.
No matter how bad the person is , death penalty is wrong.
