Having the smell come back is a very common problem. Most of the time, you have to treat the area multiple times. Use an enzymatic cleaner, not a "grocery store" type product.
Nature's Miricle is a very common brand. It can be found in any good pet oriented store. Use it very liberally, don't skimp. The urine may well have soaked into things. It is very possible that it got under the baseboard. That is not at all unusual. They might have actually gone ON the washer and dryer, be sure to wipe the surface of them also.

It is very likely it got under the baseboard, was it wet all the way up to it? Also it could be that the dog actually peed on the appliances and it is still on them or up on the hoses underneath. It also could have gotten down under the lenolium too, since most of the time it has small lines in it where it was pieced together.I would try to take up a area of the floor covering and see if it went under it. If so,you will need to sand down the flooring,or better to replace it,that would be better and then put down a new piece of flooring. Laundry room flooring isn't usually that much since it is usually a small space. If you can't afford to do that, then a friend of mine swore by using white vinegar so I tried it. She had me to mop the floor several times with a disenfectant (I used Lysol) then she said to mop it again 3 times with white vinegar. I did that too. She stood there and watched to make sure I did it correctly, and I had to completely empty the bucket and rinse with HOT water each time to make sure the bucket did NOT have any pee smell to it. Then I mopped the floor one more time with just vinegar and she had me leave it on it and NOT walk on it for 24 hrs, then I rinsed the floor. Remopped it with White Vinegar and rinsed again and the smell was gone. Sorry it seems like a lot of mopping but it got the smell out and that was back in the HOT Summer and I do NOT have the smell anymore.

Mop thoroughly, use a deodorizer like Febreeze or Out!, and get a can of Damp Rid. The Out1 gets rid of most of the smell, and the Damp Rid absorbs even the strongest odors, especially in a smaller room.

There is a product advertised on T.V. that is also available in stores. Its called Urine Be Gone. A black light may come with it so you can check for other stain locations and to see if you got all the stain out.

It could have gotten under the baseboard I guess. You could go to somewhere like PetSmart and get the cleaner that kills pet urine smell.

Pour some vinegar in the area and let it sit for about a day or so. Then just mop with the regular stuff you use.
