I'm considering on letting my nose piercing close up. I have had nothing but trouble with it. Any one know if it leaves a big scar? Should I reconsider? The reason why i have decided to let it go is because I cannot find a nose ring that suits me. I'll take any suggestions on what I should do.

Shouldn't be much of a scar if the hole didn't get stretched out, but yeah...it'll leave one...makeup might be able to mask it once it's closed up...there's also the chance it could leave a bump or dip in your nose depending on how it heals closed...

My sister had the SIDE of her nose pierced many yrs. ago, but all that's there is a small hole/no scar tho. Not sure about those piercings in the middle of the nose that are popular today. good luck!

no it doesn't leave a scar. My best friend decided to let hers grow together. it will look like a little bit bigger pore for a week or so, and then it basically disappears. Have you tried mose studs that are basically flush with your skin, so they are just a little glitter on your nose. they are sold at claires or jcpenney.

It could leave a scar,but don't worry if it does.just use whatever product you want to use that's for scars while the scar is freash.the scar should disappear completely...that is if you get one.good luck.

It will likely leave a tiny scar that won't be very noticeable unless someone was purposely looking for it.

I only have a tiny hole left. But it depends how you scared. If you take off the piercing, you'll have an idea of what will be left, except it should be a bit smaller.

yeah, It may leave a scar. you can get ointments thought to help the scar dissapear.
