When did it become a good thing to show to the world (via the internet) that a good majority of the people in "America" are so STUPID?
I am talking about the LAZINESS, that people show while trying to communicate their questions and answers. If you can't spell or use correct pronunciation, it only comes through as, well, STUPID!

Although I have proper use of the English language I know many who don't. Let me correct your ignorant thinking, it's not always laziness. Some go through life unable to grasp the spelling and grammar of this language regardless of their education level and it is no reflection of their intellegence, it is a reflection of the education system.

I think it's sad, as well. However, the next time you bash an entire group for poor spelling and grammar, there are two things you should note:
1) The comma you used after laziness is completely out of place
2) How exactly would one use correct pronunciation through typing? Unfortunately, that makes no sense at all.

First of all, your grammar is awful. You're not really one to point the finger. Why do you let it bother you so much? I understand that everyone has a pet peeve, but give me a break. Did you ever stop to think that maybe the "Americans" of which you speak may be, for example, typing in English when their first language is Spanish? Perhaps they have a learning disability such as dyslexia, or perhaps they simply don't care. Whatever the reason may be, it's unfair to judge someone based on how they TYPE. Misspelling a word does not necessarily make the person an idiot or lazy. As long as they get their point across, it shouldn't matter how they type, especially on a forum. People are going to think what they want to think regardless of how well someone types.

I never understood why my dad was so pissed at things like "lite" beer until I read some of my old school papers and saw my spelling.

The US has a culture of blame and no responsibility. Like my kid is fat because of McDonald's - as if you HAVE to eat there or I spilled hot coffee on myself and it burned I need to sue to coffee maker!!! AND we pride ourselves on having no knowledge of the world or history or anything and focus on crap like race and sexuality and flag burning to distract us from the real issues.

This empire is falling quickly. I see it being like the once mighty Rome by the year 3000.

Stupidity comes in all colors and flavors some of us are blessed with more of it than others. Before throwing stones, check to see if you are sitting in a glass house.

Have a good day.

It is laziness when there is a spell checker available. It is not hard to use, just click on 'Check Spelling' and guess what, it checks the spelling!!!! Grammar may be harder but there is no excuse for not using the spell checker except idleness.

It is also bewildering to me how many people on here are
always pointing their fingers at others .
Check it out there are 3 more pointing back at you !

It never makes you look any better than anyone else to
point out someones weaknesses.

It only makes you look hateful .

We tend to see in others the same flaws that we have ourselves .

What ever goes around comes around .

Lack of education...speak of the devil: a truly educated person wouldn't mount such a high horse as yours.
