Possibly, they are good and hopefully they learned something from last years finals.
Before I make a prediction I want to see Denver with Camby, AI, and Melo in the line up. That should be a great team.
Also it is hard to ignore San Antonio and Phoenix, and Utah is much improved, Despite last years win by Miami the west is clearly better. I am pretty sure that the West will win the title and I am going to say, since you asked for a prediction, Utah.
If i get this right I am prognosticating God, if I get it wrong, I am just a crazy guy on the net.

Yes because Mavericks can win without Dirk now that means they don't depend on "OUTSCORING YOUR OPPONENT" strategy anymore and Josh Howard and Devon Harris are beginning to mature as NBA players now. Plus they have probably one of the best defense in the league right now.

No, because offense wins regular season games.. but defense wins championships. You look at the 3 best defenses in basketball this year.. you get the spurs, pistons, and cavs. Cavs are more of a long shot.. but any of those 3 teams have a shot. The only offensive team that could maybe do it is the suns, because they have so much unbelievable offensive weapons they could make a run of it if they happen to get hot.

no and yes . Once avery johnson said that their team has concentration but they dont always sometime they shoot more than 50 percent sometimes they dont i bet they are r strongest team in the nba right now.
