If you two are really best friends, maybe you can talk to him about this situation, and ask him what is going on. maybe he's dealing with some problems. If not, just try to keep your distance from now on.

Boys go through stages but perhaps his friends that are boys are making fun of him for being friends with a girl. Don't be upset. Boys don't mature as fast as girls do so give him a break. It just hard to be a teen. Give it some time. Just let him know that you will be his best friend no matter what cause that is what friends do. Stand by you in the good and bad. A friend will support you no matter what. Good luck.

Well I'm a boy, 15, and i don't really like to hang out with anybody other then guys. And we act basically go girl hunting, and act as each others wing man. So the Jacob might just start hanging around his guy friends more often to get a girl friend? hope that solves your question.

I know a guy named jacob, girl crazy, and has turned into a jerk. I think i understand you. It's a stage and everything will be alright, believe me i know i have a bro and it's like he's a jerk one day and then a total sweetheart the next (Not really but hey!) He won't stay a jerk unless this is who he has been slowly becoming...okay i don't know. I have no clue. He's being stupid and depending on age it might be a stage but if hes past his teens then hes stupid! If he broke up with someone recently then hes going through a stage.

same happened with me not too long ago. we were best friends then he turned into a jerk. he was a jerk for a while, then nice, then a jerk again. so its both a phase, and he was being stupid
