anyone help i got flatscreen tv and the on button will not stay in can wedge it in and tele works fine just want to watch it without button wedged in

throw a sledge hammer at it, then swear.
Then realise takeing my advice was both foolish and costly. and i dont mean money costly but emotionally scaring, cos the TV is the only true friend a person can have.

aaaahhhhhhhh "What" are you doing...have you never ever heard of TV FIRES...look in your manual and DOES that tell you to wedge the on button in if it don't stay in I THINK NOT !!!!!!!. NOW be sensible & get it repaired proffesionally & just play some games or read some books until its sorted. Don't take chances with yours & other lives....Un wedge it NOW & unplug from the mains.

If its still under warranty then take it back
if not try using blue tac but anything you use to wedge it may harm the tv so be carefull

i wouldn't, we did that with a sony and it caught fire.
