Taner Jared is very sweet to his girlfriend. He isn't super outgoing, but he's not shy either.
Sheldon Rouke plays lots of video games and probably likes skateboarding or some other activity like bike riding or roller blading.

If you have to explain how something is pronounced when a one letter change would be self-explanatory, just spell it the way it sounds. If I saw Taner I would think it was pronounced Tay-ner, not Tanner. Just add the extra "n" to avoid unnecessary confusion.
Tanner Jared -- I like it. I see a tall, strong, fit athletic guy.
Sheldon Rouke -- hate it. Sorry, but the name Sheldon sounds nerdy and bookish and shy to me. Boring.
Rouke -- now what can I say about that? It looks like rooke (rhymes with look) to me. As soon as you have to tell people how it's pronounced you've already created yourself and the child unnecessary annoyance for life. Now if you said the name was Rock, as I understand it's pronounced, I would appreciate that a little more, although it reminds me of the old movie star Rock Hudson. Probably before your time.
I would suggest instead Seth or Spencer instead of Sheldon and Ross instead of Rock.
I like Spencer Ross.

They are both interesting names but I would change the spellings to reflect the pronounciation: Tanner Jared or Sheldon Rauck. I prefer Sheldon Rouke out of the two.

First of all, if you have to EXPLAIN how it's pronounced, it's not a good choice. And spelling "Tanner" as "T-A-N-E-R" is a mistake - it's always going to be pronounced exactly as it looks - rhyming with "caner."
And "Rouke" isn't really even a name. First of all, it looks as though it would rhyme with "puke." And if you want it to rhyme with "hawk," then you mean that it's basically pronounced as "rock," right? Well, it worked for Rock Hudson, but I'd spell it his way instead.
However, I do think that "Tanner Jared" sounds very nice. I'm not particularly fond of either name, personally, but they go well together.
"Sheldon Rock," on the other hand, doesn't flow quite so well. It's not hideous, but it just doesn't sound as good as the first set.
