The economy is on a downturn right now, and some economists are predicting that unemployment might go up to as high as 5% this year. So the answer is "No, the job market is not improving." That said, 5% is still relatively low from a historical standpoint, and the downturn may well be temporary. So if you are a qualified job-seeker, I would not lose hope!

answer wud b an emphatic YES!!!

i am pusuing mba from LBSIM,delhi..our institute has seen an upheaval in placements compared wit last year..one might argue that its an understatement..bt i wud expalin why..
tho cos put up revised salary figures every year considering the inflation factors bt one cannot discount the fact that the economy has registered an impressive growth over the past few quarters..thanks to the service sector which is driving the economic engine..ther has bn a quantam leap in all sectors..
question is will INDIA be able to sustain the growth???
again if the govt comes up with good infrastructure & proper planning(fuelled by FDI) then there is no reason as to why INDIA cant make most of the economic growth..more & more cos wud pour into engg/med/mba campuses..
