It's called Liberalism

I notice a little hate going on in some of the answers here. I think there is enough on both sides to say its a bipartisan phenomenon. If you think liberals are so wonderful, try watching MTV for a while... they breed hate of republicans. And there are jerks on the conservative side like Rush Limbaugh who put down anything a liberal does. Why dont we call it sheepism? Because anyone who lets politics control their life, believing either of the existing parties can do no wrong and thinks either is going to make things better is a fool and is just following their chosen leader(s) mindlessly.

Ignorance. Idiocy. The norm with most close-minded Americans who allow the political fat cats to align their views with an extremely small minority of corrupt, powerful, hateful people who do no real help to the nation and in fact hurt it with their endless bickering and deadlock, and villinize anyone with a differing point of view with un-realistic stereotypes.

It's all just a difference of opinion and everyone has the right to their own. I find it is best not to mix friendship and politics. You can lose good friends that way especially if both of you are passionate in how you feel.

Prejudice is prejudice. To "hate" anyone based on their beliefs is just plain prejudiced (not to mention narrow minded), and a big waste of energy.
