If you found a wallet with $450 inside it?
* we returned it ... with all the cash still inside, the man gave us a $50 reward. It felt good to do the right thing ... and it taught our kids a good lesson too.

I actually found a wallet with $50. and lots of credit cards and personal info cards while I was out walking!
I took it to the police station and the Lady got it back and I never heard anything from her!
I was sort of disappointed that she didn't even call to thank me. I wasn't expecting any reward, but a Thank-you would have been very nice.
What this person didn't know was I was out for my 4-6 mile walk and had found her wallet only about 1/2 mile from my house, ( I didn't want to carry it the whole time , so I hid it under a big rock and got it on my way back, and guess what I worried that someone else would find it before I got back and I was so relieved it was still there).
Oh well I am glad she got it back, that's all that really matters.
NO I never for one moment thought of keeping it!

I would give it back. Someone found my wallet once, and actually called me to return it. The $300 that was in it was gone though...I was still glad I didn't lose all the important stuff though. Really sucks...

I would return the wallet. But only if there is id. I wouldnt turn it in to the police.

if i found someones wallet i would return it as there is probably some i.d. inside. if i just found some money with no indication of who it belonged to i would keep it.

If the money is just on the ground, finders keepers.

hmm, well, i'd return it, and ask the man why he keeps leavin his walet around, lol - after ur kids already gave it back once

im not sure...i would probably think about keeping the money before i come to my senses and hand it into the nearest police station
