I work in customer services and I just HATE it when I see those stupid hypocritical teenage/twenty-something year old girls that kiss and hang all over their boyfriend in public. I see it all the time and that is the same type of spoiled girls I see saying that homosexuality is wrong. It's not even JUST the girls, MOST straight people do this. They don't know how great they have it with the fact that they are able to show their love for the person they sincerely truly care about in public if they so wish, but they would get all hypocritical if they saw two gay equivalents who felt the same way as they do and avert their eyes or even be so bold as to say that the gays are wrong or are "forcing" themselves on straight people. Okay, whatever, they are the ones that were JUST doing the SAME thing. How wrong is that? Or they get worried their children might see it. That's why 4 out of 5 teenagers that kill themselves are gay, because of hypocritical parents like that!

I'm really worried about my anger with this because I don't know how much of this I can stand. That is one thing I cannot stand and that is injustice towards people. Straight people have it SO freaking good and they take it for granted ALL the time. If they just lived one day in a gay person's shoes and realized that the gay person does NOT have a choice and they have been this way since birth, they'd keep their mouth shut on things that they have no idea about. One day, though, they will come to realize how wrong they were once this world is gone and how much anguish they have caused SO many people. American tries to act like it is SO free, but that is only for people who fit into this mold. They are SO wrong in that thinking and I can't wait until they are called out on it and are held responsible for their actions. I guess I need to learn patience in this matter and know that God is in control and give it to Him. Some people are just that ignorant and full of themselves.

Ok...you can disregard what I'm about to say if you like (considering that I'm a woman married with kids...the only ones who know I'm bisexual are my husband and I...to the "Average Joe" on the street I would "appear straight")

Personally I love PDA's with my husband...I'm also not repulsed by seeing two men or two women snuggled up, holding hands or whatever...PDA's are not 'sexuality specific" (for me anyways) the only time that it bothers me (and it doesn't matter if it/s M/M, F/F, M/F or two howler monkeys) is if the PDA is graphic. If you wouldn't do it in front of your family, then you porbably shouldn't be doing it out in the street.

This is just my humble opinion...however, my answer might be "skewed" from what you were looking for, given that I consider myself bisexual, rather than straight.

Edited to add - After reading your additional comments, I would have to say no...I don't really feel that kind of anger towards anyone...cos...wow...you've got some rage goin' on there. Have you considered perhaps some anger/stress management?

AMEN. I feel the SAME way!!! Except, I really don't get angry about it anymore. I mean, heterosexual smut is still pretty gross to me, but it's their right, isn't it? No matter how uncomfortable it makes others feel, no matter how uncalled for it is ... it's their right, at least, thats what society says, right? Well then, why get angry about it ... when you can get even? Thats how I see it. There certainly isn't any LAW forbidding homosexual PDA, is there? At least, not in America. So the only thing thats stopping you is public opinion. And you know what public opinion about this kinda stuff amounts to? Sh!t. Screw what other people think. Sweetie, if you’re affectionate about someone in that way, then just stop CARING about what other people will think, say and do, and just feel free to SHOW your affection. I have a feeling that as soon as I find that “special someone” for me, I’ll be all over them, in private AND in public, if not just to get back at all of the hetero’s who do the same thing, then because I’ll love him so much that I wont be able to help it. In fact, I know a large part of my PDA will be to get those homophobes riled up, to get their panties all in a bunch (I admit, I LOVE getting attention, positive AND negative). Who cares what they say to you, they can’t do anything about it but talk, unless they want to harass you and physically abuse you, which will eventually land their asses in jail. And the fact that they can’t do anything to you will make them even angrier, which could be amusing, therefore making up for all the hurtful things they may say to you. So just try to think like that ... don't get angry, just laugh off their ignorance! I hope I hepled, hun! Loves,

You are ranting over nothing.
DO NOT CARE WHAT OTHERS THINK ABOUT YOU, JUST WHAT YOU CARE ABOUT YOURSELF.

Puppy love and puppy petting is public is a sign of a new relationship not a LASTING RELATIONSHIP. A relationship is based on love and trust, not how much body contact you can touch in pubic display.

Get over it. If you want to be watched with your boyfriend, get the video camera out and tape it, then put it on the net.

People that have been together for 20 30 and 40 years do not pet in public, they don't have to, just a look in each others eyes can tell how you feel.

If they are petting in front of you ask them to stand aside and get back into line once they have finished, there are customers waiting for Customer Service in line. Then say "next customer" loud enough for the next person can come up. This works for my friend when customers are on the cell phone.

If you want to kiss your boyfriend in pubic DO IT! DO NOT HIDE IN THE CLOSET ANYMORE. Do you not kiss him in front of your mom, dad, brothers, sisters, nieces/nephews?

I'm sorry you see things this way- please know that there are also LOTS of us who feel you should be able to do the exact same thing! I SMILE seeing a same sex couple proud to demonstrate thier affection in public!

If it's the young ones which bother you, take comfort in the fact that they know NOTHING about themselves or the world around them yet... they are unfortunately a product of thier environment, which I know is on the verge of revolution...

You are just people in love-you have every right to act like it! People should learn to mind thier own business.

Anyway, I hope you have a great new years!

Hey, yeah it's not fair.

But remember being gay is cool. It's a great thing to fancy men, have relationships with men and be attached emotionally to men.

It's ace. Don't feel you are missing out too much.

As for PDA, you can in the right place, maybe you need to live in a more liberal place. In gay villages it goes more or less unnoticed.

I agree with you that PDA is wrong. It isn't right for little kids to see gay OR straight couples going at it. It isn't funny when the little 3 year olds are tying to tongue each other because they saw it at the mall. People's sexuality is a personal and private thing and I don't believe anyone should parade it around.

i'm totally straight and i think that PDA of any kind is disgusting. sex is for home or somewhere where other don't have to watch you make a fool of yourself. and i must say...the majority of PDAs are by straight people who think that they are better than the world. nobody wants to see anybody grabbing and rubbing someone elses body in public...gay or straight. holding hands and a peck is as far as PDA should go.

You just cant take it that making out was made for and only for the opposite sex not the same sex can you?Alot of people dont do anything when 2 straight people are making out cause that is natural but with 2 same sex people making out in public that is just unnatural and gross.

Well, too bad, but if you want to live on Earth, people are entitled to express affection towards one another. Some countries have different societal expectations, but the fact remains. People have a right to express themselves. Good luck with God on that fixing that one, honey.
