Contact the colleges and see what classes they offer. My husband is an electrician and my 25 year old son has decided to retrain as an electrician. So my husband has taken him on, with a release for college once a week. He pays my son a good wage - equal to what he was earning. (But then, I am his mother and would have something to say about that!) And we pay for the college course.
My husband is delighted - he says my son has a good work ethic because he isn't a youngster, has some experience. My son is enjoying it.
It's very convenient for us - I don't suppose you'd be so lucky, But you could approach a few electricians and try to persuade them to take it on.

He could try a local contractor and get a job as a mate. Then do a course while working at it. If he was young enough, he could do an apprenticeship, but I doubt that if old enough to be married.

if he's GROUNDED and has his priorities mapped out, it won't be a SHOCKING experience for him to hold down a job and attend school part-time. CURRANTly, many people work full-time and go to school at night. some people even PLUG into the internet to attend school online.
