Dose any one here bite there nails like all day bite them way to much tell they hurt or all all gone?

Dose any one here feel they bite there nails way to much or just don't stop or cant.

My friend bits her nails tell they bleed and there are no nails left but dose not stop who else is like this ?

also a silly question but dose any one pick or bite there toe nails so they look like that are no nails left is this normal?

i bite my nails like that to its just a bad habbit i dont know why i do it but if i dont do it ill get aggravated so i gotta do it. but it is not because im stressed or hungry or nervous its just a bad habbit people get into like cracking your nuckles.

I bite my nails nonstop, they will get close to the quick and yes they will bleed. I also bite my cuticles really bad. The skin will be pulled back and they will bleed too. But i do not bite my toenails.

I'm 31 years old and i've bitten my nails since i can remember,i know it's a really bad habit but its so hard to stop,i pick my cuticles too until they become sore.

Did it all my life over 40 years quit by getting a rock that fit my palm perfectly and played with it for a couple months as a reminder of what I had it for got it alot smooter than I found it and still carry it thought I'd never quit but that worked for me.

i dont bite my nails, it is a very bad habit. there are millions of bacteria in yuor nails, so just think about it before you start chewing. or try letting your friend soak her nails in hot sauce or lemon juice when they grow back, so everytime she bites them, their too sour or spicy. also try wrapping bandages around her fingers, so she cant bite them at all.

She can put some garlic on her nails and that will keep her from biting them.

ive had that habit most of mii life (but i still had fingernails i didnt bite them all off)-- thank god ive stopped. now i only bite mii nails when im nervous
