i think colombia is best that mexico, because, colombia has most players in europe that mexico
mexico was to world cup, because mexico plays with panama, USA, canada, costa rica and honduras (easy temas)
colombia plays with argentina, brasil, uruguay, paraguay, ecuador, chile (hard temas)

Columbia are probably best. Mexico have the easiest qualification in the world so will virtually always get to world cups, while columbia could be very strong but still not qualify. Apart from the teams you mention, Uraguay are also strong.

Colombia may have a ton of players in Europe cuz the quality of soccer/football in Colombia is really low. Not very good football clubs set there. Mexico is by far one of the greatest teams. However, they don't take advantage of such great talent. Therefore, in my opinion---Mexico has a better team than Colombia. Oh, and Mexico does have good quality football clubs--but of course not as good as the ones in Europe.

They wouldn't be much between them but i think Mexico would be a much better all round team although if Columbia played in Mexico's qualifying group they probably would qualify.
