There are other ways of downloading music but you need iTunes to sync the songs to your iPod. Why can't you download iTunes?

I'm sure there may be a way. I don't know of any But even if you do find a way I wouldn't recommend it. It may cause malfunctions with your iPod or something. Why can't you download iTunes? You can get it off the internet or there should have been a software cd that came with your iPod. You can install it that way.

the cd rom that came with the ipod will have itunes on it, you could download itunes elsewhere and copy it to a flash memory or a cd and take to your pc an install there.
In short, there are ways of using others apps to load songs onto itunes but they are a pain, besides itunes is a great media player.

the iPod works specificall for iTunes, so although you could put music on your iPod through other programs, it would be difficult, and might not work properly.

Why can't you download iTunes? Every iPod comes with an iTunes CD, and you can even download it online, i believe.

If you have a cd you can put the songs that are on the cd on your ipod
