This might haunt you for awhile, so listen carefully. I had a friend that told me he was a dead sleeper & it's hard for anyone to wake him up. He has 3 alarms in his room in different areas. He told all his friends this that if anybody could wake him out of a natural sleep he give 250 dollars. And yes me & friend got that in writing. Bought 20 live tarantulas and stuck it in sheets while he was sleeping around 5am. By 5:15am we heard a loud scream of fright & we ran to his door opened slowly to see what happen. Then are cell phones started to ring and of course that made us jump. It was are friend calling from his bathroom, not knowing that we were in the living room; saying for us to come over because he thinks he saw millions of large spiders that he thought was the worst nightmare he ever had. To this day, of the 7 that he killed & the 10 we've collected there is still 3 missing. Now every day he wakes up 30 minutes or more before his alarms go off thinking that something is crawling on him. p.s. He did give us money.

Getting a phone call in the middle of the night (wrong number or not) or someone walking into your room and pulling open the drapes and telling you it is time to get up.

Both are icky wake up situations.

Feeling well-rested, after a night of wonderful dreams, then looking at the clock and realizing you've overslept again and will be 2 hours late for work.

I was woken up once with my stupid friend and two mag lights. He decided to bring them in slowly to my eyes and scream "HERE COMES THE TRAIN..."

It does work..at least it did for me.

One Christmas when I was a child, my dog passed away suddenly. She got sick, we took her to the vet, and they had her on antibiotics.

On Christmas morning I was half asleep/half awake and I heard my mom telling my sister that my dog had died overnight. I thought I was still dreaming, only to wake up crying to find out it was true.
