I paid 37 dollars to see Gary Allan in concert and it was in the midsection, if they had closer tickets for sale, I think I would have paid more just to see him up close!!

That depends on who is playing and how much I want to see them. I wanted to see the Rolling Stones but 2 tickets @ $150 each, I decided to buy all their CD's.
Some of these bands are rich enough they could give free concerts. Thing is the arenas, halls, & stadiums are price gouging. The UNION stagehands, electricians, carpenters, etc. demand HIGH bucks and ticket prices go up.
I think $30 - $50 should be about the average rate.

I have found concert tickets for $15 bucks in a long time...

When I was younger I didn't care where I sat, but now, if I can't be up close, I'm really not interested in going, so I pay a lot more for those tickets.

It depends on who it is:

if Frank Zappa, Freddy Mercury and Jim Morrison all came back from the dead for one show then I would consider paying a hefty amount to go see them.
These you are going to be pushed to find concert tickets for $15....unless you wait a couple of years to go see the Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Ashley Simpson, Britney Spears comback show at your local Mall and you may not even have to pay that much!

$120 for Billy Joel and Elton John in Boston. I just recently paid $82 for my ticket to Justin Timberlake in Tampa. Too much money, but the memories make it worth the cost.

It would depend on who I was going to see. If it was an amazing band that I might never be able to see again, I'd be willing to speng a lot of many. Whereas, if it was some crappy band like Fall Out Boy or something, you might actually have to pay me to go see it.

I whined when tickets to Van Halen were $38 in the early 90's. Now looking at them tells me why I don't go anymore. Check prices here to see what they go for now. http://concertticketsonline.blogspot.com/
