I seriously doubt that the pharmaceutical industry is going to put enough cortisone in an OTC product to speedily heal this up. Here is some info on Keloids: http://www.medicinenet.com/keloid/article.htm

I did find a product available online that contains Quercetin, a bioflavinoid found in onions, broccoli & orange peel, that I believe might help. It is a powder that you have to mix into your own lotion or salve. Here's the link: http://skinactives.com/products/quercetin.htm

You can also take Quercetin internally. It works best when combined with Bromelain (from Pineapple) and taken on an empty stomach.

Some of the side effects of using synthetic cortisone (even topically) are: high blood pressure, reduced immunity, water weight gain, bleeding intestines, weak muscles, prominent blood vessels on eyelids, aggressive behavior.

Here are some herbal alternatives that help the body increase production of corticosteroids: Ginseng, Licorice, Sarsaparilla, Black Cohosh, Borage, Thuja, Wild Yam. Also Soya & Agave nectar.
