Delete your borrow history and your Cookies. Go to Tools, Internet Options, General, then Delete Browsing History and Delete Cookies.

You can also use a program call Crap Cleaner.

You must go into your Internet Explorer options to remove this from being populated when you type. In other words, when you start typing: television (you get a million previous searches you did for television popping up)
Not a bad thing, sometimes annoying, especially if you are viewing 'questionable' pages and in front of someone you start typing and that stuff comes up OR someone shares the computer with you and sees this.
I've seen it a million times working as a computer professional, and I would highly suggest that even if you don't want people knowing where you went with a few simple keystrokes you ELIMINATE that option.

IE > TOOLS > CONTENT. In this tab you will see Autocomplete, click on the SETTINGS option for this, and uncheck what you don't want listed.
Also if you are running a toolbar such as Yahoo or Google, there are options with the toolbar you may need to shut off otherwise they will autopopulate there also.

Good lucK!
