If by the top you mean the battery door, then yes - pop it back on. if by the top you mean the front of the phone that shows the time, then you have to take in to a service center. Call your carrier's customer care number to find one close to you. Not all stores are repair centers...

The top back? Mine does that when dropped too. Just pop it back on and the phone should be fine. My kids and I drop ours all the time. :-)
If the front fell off, you could have a problem and may need to replace the phone.

Put it back on, it shouldn't harm the phone... it clicked back on.
