Computers are tools that help us do more things in less time, and allow us to do things that we could not do before. Just like the wheel and many other great inventions of times passed, computers will help us confront the problems of today with solutions in the future. Presently computers help us research things and compose research into ideas that can be understood by others. The computer (& internet) helps us share these ideas with others (i.e.wikipedia & y! awnsers etc.) Also used for creativ pursuits such as movies and poetry (good o'l rhyming dictionary and thesaurus). Computers are also used for entertainment as well as in medical procedures and transportation as well as banking and govermental planning. Without computers we would not be able to do many things that make our modern life possible.

Because our world is fast moving technology and you will become out of touch with too many things. Dozens of things make computer a necessity. Online banking, bill paying, check your charge card account, your phone bill, play games, educate yourself by reading Answers of questions other people asked and answered, there is no end to the wonders of this day and age. Music, phone, video, all can be done on the comp.

computers help us do a lot of things if you want a day off of work you can do it on a computer and a lot of other things
