Is there a way of posting comments to the users of the responses I get? I would like users to know?

I have read their response, it was helpful, etc.

You can click on their avatar and see if they have email or IM or 360 to contact them. Or, when you select a Best Answer (after 4 hours but before 4 days), you can post a comment at that point (though many people will not return to see it, sorry). Or you can add a detail to your question before you close it saying that, but, again, most folks won't return to see it.
