I feel this way right now... what should I do?
when it's this way, wouldn't it just be better to be in total control of yourself, of your emotions, so that you could never suffer this much and feel head over feet?

joseph: you're right- i'm feeling a bunch of feelings all together, a very strong flood of emotions alltogether, like waves, and I feel out of breath, trying to swim across the waves...maybe i should just let myself be carried along by them...but it's not that easy, is it?

heavy subject. feelings will not kill you. I avoided my feelings for 46 years. Then they come over me in a tidal wave. Funny thing was, as I lay crying on the floor, there was a positive underlying feeling of change, that I really needed. When people tell me about wierd feelings, I usually suggest that if they visualize any swirling vortexes, that they dive in. This brings me to a new place. It is similar to daring your nightmares to go ahead and kill you. They can't, it leaves them powerless. My brain has a brilliant ability not to take me places that it cannot survive.

I know, I feel the same way :( the truth is, there are two kinds of women: those who fall in love, feel happy and just enjoy their feelings, and then suffer really badly when they reach the ground. :) I find their way of getting over it incredible though. Most of them use autosuggestion in order to forget everything or believe that the only evil guy who exists is the one who hurt them. :) this is pure insanity if you ask me.
So be happy, 'cause you're not like them! You know it's wrong to trust a guy too much just because you're completely in love with him, but the feeling can make you feel confused, and the fear of getting hurt is as intense as your love for the guy. :) and it's even more difficult since you feel like believing everything he says.
It would be great if we could control our feelings because this way we could be more objective when we like someone and decide whether he's worth it or not.
I don't know what you should do... try to makre sure he respects you... otherwise it can turn out really bad... I don't know what else to say... these intense feelings are so unhealthy. :(

Yes. Of course I'm in love with somebody at the moment.
She won't see me anymore, long story. She's actually in love with me too and scared her feelings.
What should you do. Take care. Don't be rash. For me that kind of stress in my wrists most for some reason. I have to rub them.
Take care. Remember that no matter how strong the feeling things get better.
Sometimes its o.k. to follow your strong feelings but usually better to slow down with your mind, look for the consequences. Key word, think SLOW.
Take it easy and have a free long distance hug. If you are patient, it should turn out o.k. whether its the way your current emotion want is another story.

yes, and its very scary, I would tell you to find a way to begin examining where is the root of your feelings and emotions. some use Buddhism, others use religion I used a therapist (several actually, at different times and at different junctures) a 12 step program for an addiction, where i learned about my sprituality (i always had it but needed to become aware of it),and I did alot of my own research and experimentation, it helped to do the therapy to get things started , I am forever grateful to the 12 step program and the people.. but after watching the hypocrisy and useage of the program to excuse bad behavior in some members .. I outgrew NA., but remain clean and believe in it for initial change (abou a year) but do not believe in it as a lifelong crutch as they would have you believe is necessary, you can stay clean and spritual without them)as I said though therapy is a good start for self examination

Talk to a professional
There are reasons why you feel this way and many share these same feelings. Are you on medications? I know my whole family is on meds for depression and I am not and sometimes I wonder why, if I am feeling like I should. Best way to figure it out is to talk to a psychologist.

I get that way sometimes when I think about my son. I become a little overwhelmed when I think about him growing up (he's only 11 now) and going on to college. It scares the hell out of me and I have to focus my thoughts on something else until I have someone to talk to about it.

Yes, a lot. If you feel it is an emergency, contact someone. If not, just try to relax. That is what I do. Then, go see a doctor.
