i don't bother to turn the lights on anymore, besides whoever the genius is who did my bathroom put a sklylight right above the toilet seat.

Not if there is enough light to see what you're doing (or done). I never have the lights on when I'm in the bathroom - (normally shower in the morning) but I do have a bath by candle light. Although no one directly overlooks us, I don't fancy the neighbours seeing me waltzing in and out whenever I go.

That depends if you’re talking about turning on the lights just to be turning on the lights or turning on the lights because it's dark.
If the skylight illuminates the room well enough for you to see then there is no need to turn on the lights but if you are just showering in the complete dark and there isn't any power outage then um yeah that's kind of weird...

No I take a shower with the light off in the bathroom but have the hall light on, My bathroom has a fan when the light is turned on and sometimes it is too noisey if I have a mirgrain.

Nope, I shower in the dark when I get up early in the morning to allow my senses some time to kick in. I go to the bathroom in the dark all the time. I can't see well without my glasses so whether I am in the dark or not wearing my glasses, I have to rely on my senses equally.

Not strange for either one...but I'm a female. Peeing in the dark for a guy must be difficult. And for a female, showering in the dark would be hard since so many of us shave there. That wouldn't be a good job, I wouldn't think.

Hey, here in Illinois they are raising our electric rates. I've been doing a lot more things in the dark than I ever did. As long as you can see enough to have everything "clean" when your done, and not fall on your face leaving the bathroom, have at it.

i try to do both in the dark, keeps me from waking up fully for a few more minutes. wife hates that i go to the bathroom w/out light on, though, as she does most of the cleaning AROUND the toilet. w/out lights, have to go by SONAR...

lol the skylight is awesome atleast you can read while takin a crap without turning on the light. I like to see what im doing, and im kinda still scared of the dark, but its relaxing if the light is off sometimes.

I use the bathroom in the dark at night when i dont want to turn the lights on b.c i don't want to wake myself up.

Bathrooms are venerable enough to add going in the dark.
You need the light to see the psycho!
