At the Dell factory. Some are made in Texas, and some in Canada.

Sub assemblies and components come from all over the world. Laptop batteries come from the Sony Exploding Batteries factory.

Just to correct ibizarre. Dell computers are assembled on the island of Penang in Malaysia and not Indonesia. Though i am not aware if that factory supplies globally.

In addition, the components like motherboard, cd reader et al are sourced from other countries too. Places like China and Taiwan are top on the list of component manufacturers.

Dell computers are not made in China. They are made in Indonesia. The city of Penang to be exact.

parts are from all over the world, mostly china, taiwan, philippines, japan, indonesia. most assembly takes place in austin, texas.
