It's pretty sad knowing that most of the divas in the WWE is just ornamental,when I was little ALL of the divas could kick a$$ now the only divas on Raw that can ACTUALLY wrestle are Victoria,Mickie James,and Melina.And don't get me started on Smackdown,theres talent there but it's being held back on a show that dosent have the women's title present,cause I think Ashley,Jillian,and Kristal all have champ potential.But as far as the other divas go like Candice Michelle(SLOWLY improving but not quite there yet!)Torrie Wilson(Sorry fans of hers,but I think the B itch needs to retire because she's been around since the WCW days and STILL can't wrestle and her crow's feet is showing that she's not a brand new pup anymore)Maria (needs to stick to reporting and thats it,nothing else)I could name afew more but yall get the hint,when did looks start to out weigh wrestling ability?

Unfortunately for a while now, Vince has gotten into a mode where what he cares about is T&A in the ring and on camera but also for the publicity. When the divas pose for mags like FHM, Stuff and esp. Playboy... that means money and publicity to Vince. (why do you think we got stuck with K Fed, its all about the publicity and other mainstream media sources reporting on it and showing the footage).
So it has become all about the looks and not about the in ring ability. Take a look at the trend with playboy. They get Candace off of her go daddy ad popularity. She does Playboy, and all of a sudden she gets a push and they keep mentioning the spread all the time. Now it's going to be Ashley doing Playboy and convienently timed to hit the stands around Wrestlemania time (irregardless that she's already posed for playboy in the past, but under another name). She'll get her push, and convienently she will be set up to win any of these "audience voting" contests when they get the divas up there and the crowd cheers for the winner.
They even announced that WWE was putting the word out that they were looking to hire about 12 bikini model types (in the mold of Kelly from ECW) to use throughout their shows. Again, not about fitness or wrestling... just the look. Just like the Diva Searches really have nothing to do with evaluating ring skills.
I'm sure the guys out there that just care about eye candy don't see a problem, but for us guys that want to still see wrestling on a wrestling show, those matches are painful to watch. Unless those divas you mentioned are wrestling each other (Vic, Mickie and Melina) it's just a shambles. It would be much better to let the wrestlers wrestle, and keep the eye candy to baskstage reporting or valet/ managers.
It was a sad sign of an end to an era when Lita and Trish left.

I totally agree with u. WWE has lost almost all the divas that could wrestle and now they are trying to fill in the diva division with models. So don't look now but more bimbos are coming. I don't even like watching the divas wrestle expect for when Victoria, Mickie James, or Melina wrestle. Otherwise it is a joke and a boring pass time to see the other divas try(key word "try") to wrestle.

I agree with you! Since Lita, Trish, and Chyna left the WWE in recent times, the other divas are just wimps. Their matches are subpar! They just can't wrestle at all! If the other divas can't run with the big dogs, then they should just stay at home, period!!!

Amen sista! I've been thinking that ever since that damn diva search took over. I could care less about these overinflated fake pieces of human prancing around the ring - I'd like to see actual REAL women wrestlers that can kick butt!

Exactly why I miss Chyna and Lita from back in the day. I usually turn the channel when they come out, unless Mickie is there or even Victoria.
