I can't get Medi-Cal insurance (health benefits) unless I am declared disabled. I can't be declared disabled unless I go to a doctor and have him fill out forms. I can't go to a doctor unless I can pay, since I have no health insurance. I can't pay unless I get Medi-Cal, which I can't get because . . . and the cycle continues.

How does one get started on all this? Go to a doctor when you know you can't pay him?

I don't know about California, but many states will pay medical bills that were incurred within the three months previous to being approved.

Look into that. Make the appointment, and get the ball rolling!
