My name is Alexanndra. I like dance and cheerleading. I've been trying forEVER to come up with a good nickname though. I don't like Alex, and I've tried Lexi. But it didn't stick. Any ideas?

I happen to love the name Alexandra so that's what I named my daughter. We call her Alex.
I think Alex is a great nickname. sorry to hear you don't like it . . Her little brother calls her Allie, how about Allie? I knew a girl once named Alexandra whose nickname was Sandra or Sandy. . . seems to me like those are your only other options.

What about Lexa? That's cute. Or maybe Anndra? Or if you have a middle initial that will match up nicely, like J then you can go by A.J. But you have a gorgeous name and if all else fails, go with that beautiful name of yours!

I knew a girl named Alexandra and she was called Eggy (I'm not sure how it's spelled) but I don't know how she got that (she hated her name and wanted it to sound different) but I also knew someone who went by Allie and Al.
