1 is alone. But if you put another 1 itd be another so that makes 2. So if you put 2 and 2, that would make 3. So, 3. Yes, 3 is the answer.

The answer is 4. Work cannot be shown because this is a basic math problem. You can use these problems to show work for other problems, though.
