The exact same thing happened to me. I never stopped producing milk. it was only coming out when I squeezed my nipples. I asked my Dr about it. They sent me for an MRI of the brain. They though I could have a small cyst laying on the hormone gland that makes you produce milk. It was clear. nothing wrong. He said that some women it just does not dry up. I would ask your doctor what he thinks about it.
Good luck!

Talk with your doctor. It may not have anything to do with breast feeding. Pain before periods is absolutely normal. But if your still leaking what seems to be milk talk with your doc. and make sure it's not something else. We as women can never be too careful!

A little pain in breasts before/during period is pretty normal, but I would definitely schedule a visit to an OB/GYN, because sometimes problems (e.g., cysts) with ovaries and uterus can cause liquid production in your breasts.

~It's normal for your breast to be tender before periods. I don't think it's normal to have leaking nipples after all this time though. I would get it checked out.
Start with a pregnancy test. Good luck.~

Its normal. Your milk may never dry up, particularly if you have fed more than one child. Milk production can be stimulated by hormones you have normally.

And it is normal for your breasts to hurt before your period.

sometimes it takes a while for your hormones to return to normal. I wouldn't say that it is unusual at all. Do, however, make sure that you are giving yourself regular breast exams. The next time you visit your doctor, bring it up.

I think I read somewhere that this could be a side affect from the pill because it mimicks pregnancy.

If you are "checking" frequently then you are stimulating your body to keep producing.
