I married my best friend. I think that if he is your best friend, and you love him.....you are meant to be together. But that is just me. I think he needs to break up with the gf before anything happens though. It wouldn't be fair to her. It's obvious that you have a "relationship" already as you are sleeping at his house. You just aren't having sex yet. It will happen. So you need to talk to him about it, honestly. You should be able to do this as he is your best friend. He needs to figure out if he wants the other girl or not. I have a feeling you two will end up together though. And, I promise, it will be wonderful.

In my personal experience, male-female friendships are totally the best but they also can get very complicated. It seems like no matter how hard you try, friends are never just friends. Someone always falls for the other person. This is not to say this is a bad thing, it's just bad when only one person has feelings for the other. I think that if both people fall though, this is great! Friends make the best lovers and partners.

I had a case where things crossed the line with my best friend. I never thought that would ever happen because my feelings were always so platonic and buddy buddy. But I warn you, don't cross that line unless you want and are prepared for things to change. You can't go back. Feelings get hurt. My guy friend was totally in love with me and I couldn't commit to that kind of a relationship with him. Our friendship is totally different now, and I totally regret that.

I'm a man, and I say "A friend is a friend". There's nothing wrong with you maintaining your platonic friendship even though he's a man and you're a woman. However, now that he's involved, whenever you spend the night at his place, I'd stop sharing his bed if I were you. It might be misunderstood by his girlfriend. Appearances can sometimes send the wrong message. It wont hurt a bit for you to sleep in the guest bedroom (if he has one) or even on the couch. Then, if his girlfriend ever shows up at his door by surprise, you wont be caught in his bed and your conscience will be clear. Aside from that, if she's still insecure about your presence, then that's her problem.

My best friend is a guy and he really likes me. I sometimes like him, esp. when I'm going through lonely dry spells. But to answer your question, I would go for it. You never know what may happen. You two may be meant for each other. He's not married yet so make your move.

Yes, leave it at friendship level. apparently he really has feelings for his gf if he is willing to do the long distance thing. You are not being a friend if you take advantage of him while she is away.

My girl...the coolest relationships start as bestfriends.Think about it,you know everything about ea. other;what makes him tick or vice-versa.If the attraction is there, talk with him about the whole deal incl.his girl.f.BUT,if the attraction is just a fren thing, then leave it alone.

I don't think so. I love my best friend. Shh he don't know. But I think you should tell him. You love him, well maybe he loves you. You both might be to scared to admit it because of the situation. But be BOLD and go for it! Tell me how it works out!

i think it's great that your best friend is a guy and it shows that all different types can bond...let things fall as they may and you or he may discover that your love is deeper for one another than you thought. good luck.
