My class has been wondering why do we celebrate this holiday. Also, I'm supposed to give a report on history so I wanted to do Veteran's Day. Please help me.

We celebrate Veteran's Day to honor those individuals who sacrificied their lives o honor our counry.. Also to honor those individuals who sacrificied their time and effort for our country!

We celebrate Veteran's Day to remember all of our veterans of the Armed Forces, living or dead, and the sacrifices they have made to make our country free!
For those who have fought for it, freedom has a flavor the protected will never know!

to remember the ladies and gentlemen who have, are and will continue to serve their Country in order that we who are at home can live in peace and freedom without having to worry about an enemy attacking us. remembering the saying that " all gave some and some gave all " in order these freedoms might be enjoyed. to take a few minutes to reflect that everyone owes a great deal to all veterans for the services rendered.

To honor the people who have gone to war and either came back or not a large part of my dads side of the family was in the military includng my dad he used to work and fly on the c-130's so we honor all those men and woman
