I figured it was gonna be better. But it was still a good movie. You just have to feel bad for the guy, all those hippies stealing his time machines.

I felt so bad for him that everywhere he went he had to carry that darn box. This was the first movie I've seen in a long time that I actually shed a couple of tears. Will Smith did an awesome job allowing the audience to connect with this character and the writers did an awesome job too.. the movie makes the audience feel that they are in this situation with Chris. I thought it was a wonderful movie one of Will's best.

I usually don't like Will Smith or his son, but I thought they did a great job in this film. I also don't like true stories. There have been so many of them made into movies, lately. True stories lack originality and creativety. I've come up with more original and more creative ideas that are simply jotted down on my computer or on paper. With that aside, Pursuit of Happyness held my attention throughout its duration. Therefore, I would recommend it to anyone.

I thought it was surprisingly good. Will Smith did an excellent job on such a serious dramatic role. He usually cuts it up and one point or another, but he was pretty serious the whole way through on this one. That guy he played sure perservered through the roughest adversities...I don't think many people could have kept going like he did. It's no wonder the guy went on and did very well for himself. He was on Oprah with Will Smith a couple of weeks ago and he seemed like a genuine man. A very real moving story.

I just saw this movie yesterday and I absolutely loved it. I thought Will Smith did an amazing job and I had tears running down my face at the end of the movie. A really inspirational story about perserverance in my opinion.

I really enjoyed it and didn't think it was so predictable. Because I was born/raised in SF, I always like seeing movies that were filmed there. Plus, I have a co-worker who was an extra in it and I was eager to try to spot her in any of the scenes (I did).

Will Smith's little boy did a great job of acting.

All in all, not a waste of time or money.

I loved it. And it especially hit home for me because I'm the same age as Chris Gardner's son, and my Mother was a single, homeless mother of two around that same time. I have no memory of it and Chris' son said he didn't remember any of it either. Will Smith gives the best, quietest, most nuanced performance of his career. And his little boy is so charismatic he almost stole the show. Almost

I loved that movie! The only thing that I wish they had done was to elaborate a little after he got the job. Like, showing him and his son being able to afford a nice place to live and maybe buying him a new action figure. Poor kid!! ;)

I thought it was an exceptionally good movie. I also think that Chris Gardner did a lot of running. I do wish they would have let us in on more of his success, It would have made for a more complete ending.
