I took a pregnancy test a few months ago and it was negative, I'm still having periods, and I'm on the pill, but I have a firm round bump and people have started asking questions, this guy at work even patted it the other day (he's a little odd). It's been going on for months and I'm getting bigger.
Could it be something like I've eaten too much too fast to make it that shape? Or that my body is just playing up because of the pill? Or I'm just getting fat in one area at a time?

If you are gaining weight, your body has to store it. Sometimes women store this weight to look like bump in their belly area. You need to do ab exercises and work out. It will go away. I know 2 women who have this, but they let it get out of hand and it now looks like they are 8 months pregnant. Take care of yourself, join a gym, eat healthy, you're going to be fine.

I seriously doubt that you are getting "fat" in one area at a time. I strongly urge you to make an appointment with your gynecologist. A lot of the before mentioned is true. Yes your pregnancy test could be wrong. Yes you can be preggers and still have a cycle. Yes you can try some stomach crunches and see if that helps. But nothing is as sure fire as going to your doctor for a thorough exam. There are so many speculations that can be made on your "condition". This could be anything from fibroids to gas. Please don't play guessing games with your body. Go to the Dr. asap!!! Two months is too long to have something wrong with body and not find out. Good luck to you.

This is called a Pot Belly, most common on men beer drinkers. You may try Stomach Crunches if you not pregnant.
