Such as americanized women "lost their value"..........American women have been belittled and used for so long they are going wild trying to make themselves feel worthy of true love. Women do not want to be stay at home sex objects for men who can't be faithful. They are learning to use those bodies to support themselves instead of giving them away to men who want to own them for nothing.

Many overseas women are will to be servants for the green card as one says. While there are men that I know who just have an attraction to other nationalities, I also know some who have bought wives to make them feel "in control".

But look at how many people are answering you as if the answer is in one form and ALL people are the same! There are many different reasons for your question, even though I'm not sure your question is correct.

Women are turning to foreign men as well. Funny some of us American women look to foreign men for respect as well. I said respect and others would again use the word control........some foreign men have a little more "controlling" attitude towards their woman BUT when treated like a prize versus a trophy....it makes a BIG difference.

I agree that American woman need to get there act together. There are many smart, handsome, high earners out there that won’t consider getting married to an American woman.
But marrying a foreign national is also no picnic. The language and cultural barriers are higher than you might think. What they laugh at, listen to and comprehend in conversation maybe far from what you as am American male want to tolerate.
Buy a house, nice car, save money and date. In the long run it’s easier.

Because rampant feminism has polluted most American women's minds into believing they should have all the rights of a man, all the privileges of a woman and the responsibilities of neither. Women from some foreign countries are more likely to be happy to assume one role or the other, rather than want it all ,at no cost.

It's not because they can't find a decent women who appreciate them. I know plenty of women who are like that yet can't find a guy to save their lives. (They keep getting rejected by the decent guys for not having big enough boobs or not being 21 or not making enough money or because the spoiled baby man's mommy doesn't like them.) In fact, I know a lot more decent women who can't find decent men than I do this supposed glut of tramps, hos, princesses, that the posters above are talking about. But I suppose if your idea of meeting women is going to a bar, you get what you pay for.

I think men are going overseas because they want a grateful, submissive, very young wife who they will not have to treat right or as an equal. They want a slave to cook and clean and warm their bed, with the threat of being sent 'back home' or stopping the 'help' to the family in the old country. They don't want to work at a relationship, they want to be the king of their castle with no questions asked. They don't want to keep themselves in shape or work at making themselves attractive -- they want to use their American lifestyle to attract a woman and then convince themselves that this gorgeous 18 year old from Manila is in loooove with them and their flabby belly. They are lazy.

And because they are not really not seeing the true nature of the woman before they marry them, any flaws that might have discouraged them in a normal courtship aren't visible. So all those annoying little habits or family issues just don't seem like they exist. (Like the guy I know who didn't know his 'blushing bride' from the Philippines was actually the mother of SIX before he married her.)

I met a guy last summer whose new wife was from one of the old USSR countries.... he went overseas for one reason - she is way hotter than any girl he thought he could land here in the states... in other words - lets say he is a 7 out of ten on the looks scale - his new wife is a ten out of ten - no way he ever dated anyone that good looking here in the states - you go overseas to marry a women who is willing to compromise to get to the states..... now after one year she is becoming Americanized and he is starting to realize he is out if his league - next stop is divorce court! she is an American now she got into the states and now doesn't need Mr. Average....

maybe in the beginning she thought she was the luckiest girl in the old USSR - but after a year in the states she realizes she can be w whole lot luckier!!! God Bless America.....

Maybe because women overseas are slightly more appreciative of a man that works for a living and upholds holds family virtues firmly. They generally don't nag and try to humilate their men before public as much as Americanized women do.

Well for recent years, its because of the wars we are having, most of these men are in the military service, or are business men who spend lots of time outside the U.S. Plus, some men seem to think women from other countries make better "housewives" then here in the states. They might be more submissive and docile.

Assuming your statistic is actually true...Have you actually looked at the women available here? Can they cook? Do they have a job? Can they carry on a conversation?

Yes, there are some good women here, but turn on Jerry Springer on TV on any given day of the week and you will see, what I believe is the "majority version" of American women.

Marry them? Hell I don't want to even be in the same room with them!

hmmmmm Maybe it is because they feel they will be appreciated more by someone that has was not raised in an overindulgent, materialistic, fashion obsessed, shallow minded peer group. If our youth believe that Brittany Spears, Paris Hilton, and Lindsay Lohan set the standard, then I would suggest drawing from a different selection or potential partners.
