Not a chance without changing motherboard. Motherboards are very cheep compared to RD-RAM, you might be able to eBay the old RD RAM and pay for a new MB, but the while you are at it why not get a new CPU and a bigger hard drive, pretty soon it would be easier to just get a new computer. I am in the same boat on one of my PCs, it uses RD RAM 400. I have all 4 memory slots filled with small memory strips and it is not cost effective to buy bigger strips, oh well time for a new computer. good luck

RDram is pretty expensive stuff, mostly because it wasn't popular. It's extremely fast compared to other RAM from that time (PC-133 SDRAM and 266MHZ DDR) but the cheaper rams have now caught up with 800MHZ DDR2 RAM. Sadly, the olny way to replace the RAM in your system is also to replace the motherboard on it. RDRAM would have been a lot cheaper now if it was popular previously but it never took off. It took long enough for DDR to overtake PC-133.

you can go in for cheaper ram, but make sure the configuration is the same.
as the computer accepts a particular type of ram and check the specifications of both the computer and the ram before purchasing cheaper ram.
