You have not won against them in the past, Korea 1952 etc Force out in the mid 1970's in Vietnam! China was supplying men & materials to these two conflicts!

Well...I am afraid that most Bush loving Americans are SO SPOILED and whiny, that they would be TERRIBLY UPSET if anyone dared mess with the NUMBER ONE supplier of domestic goods found at many of their favorite stores, including their MOST FAVORITE store WAL MART, so many of them would be slow in getting up from their easy chairs and dropping the potato chips and remote to react too quickly...if at all!

Should the Chinese army make a landing on the U.S. west coast, every road from Sarasota to Seattle will be jammed with pick-up's loaded with shotgun toatin' good ol' boys itching to get in on the action. In the meantime, the Chinese would have to ask permission from the Hells Angels just to get off the beach. If you think there in an insurgency going on in Iraq, just imagine what it would be like in the United States.
Guerrilla warfare is what helped us win our independence. And although we are not very good at countering it anywhere else, on our home turf I think we would be the champs.
The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution just might have a few more supporters if it happens.

I think the US and most Americans would react the same way we did when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. The question that I have is would we as a country and a people have the same determination and stamina that our fathers and grandfathers had in WWII

I have to agree with tpbthigb's answer. The U.S. would react the same as when Japan attacked us. In other words, we'd go in and kick their butts. Still, hopefully China knows better than to attack us.
