This is really hard to answer as the price will include hospital fees, O.R. fees, anesthesia fees, surgeon fees, etc. It will also include any repair work that may need to be done IF it can be done via the arthroscope. You can figure on a minimum of $1500 but it could be much more. The best way to get an estimate would be to ask the surgeon what his standard fee is, then call the hospital and ask what all their fees will be and what the anesthesiologist will charge. Remember, many of these fees will vary by the state you live in, what equipment is used and what hospital you use...which is why no one can give you a good estimate...only an educated guess. My husband's arthroscopy, done on an outpatient basis with a repair, ran us $2300. Fortunately, the insurance paid all but a $50 deductible.
